| HOME: there's just a sense of peace when i think of home. a safe plce. a loving place. a place where you find a lot of support. i love just relaxing at home. having friends over. and such. and theres really an amazing invisible sometimes visible but ordinary attachment. as much as sumtimes we dont wanna be home. theres an amazing attachement. i wanna go home: dont get me wrong. home is winnipeg. its a nice place. friendly people. a warm culture. my family is here. my friends are here. and my life is here. but theres an attachment that i thot i never have... Manila, Philippines: i miss home. this is where i wanna go. this home. after the first couple weeks or my 4 month stay, i was attached at the hip. i found my way around fine. wanted to do things on my own even tho it was advised not to. it was home. like how could you get lost at home. i feel safe here. even tho ppl think im crazy.
i just wanna go back. ive been really missing it lately. more than ever. i look at the few pictures i have. chat with the people i met there. caught up with my host family. its just amazing how God has allowed me to experience that feeling of HOME, in the philippines. so im attached. i love it! manila-i will be back there one day soon!! i miss my manila friends =( i hope you all are doing well!!! |
